Sophie Byrne-Atkins
Sophie Byrne-Atkins returns to Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an Articled student after completing her Juris Doctor at University of Victoria, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Sophie obtained a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Queen’s University. Sophie previously worked at a women’s legal clinic in Vancouver’s Downtown East side, where she assisted clients with a range of legal issues and gained exposure to access to justice initiatives.
During her summer Temporary Articles at Dolden, Sophie gained experience on files involving construction litigation, medical malpractice, professional liability, and occupiers’ liability. She conducted legal research, drafted litigation materials, and assisted in the preparation of documents supporting the development and presentation of evidence.
Sophie is pleased to be returning to the firm to complete her Articles.
