Sharu Ratnajothy (She/Her)

Sharu is an associate at Dolden Wallace Folick’s Toronto office. Prior to joining the firm, Sharu worked as in-house legal counsel at a major Canadian insurance company. In this role, she maintained and managed independent carriage of property damage matters and complex personal injury matters. Sharu has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Small Claims Court, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.

Sharu obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Guelph and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Manitoba. Throughout law school, Sharu participated in numerous oral advocacy competitions including the Canadian National Negotiation Competition and the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada.

Sharu’s practice areas include occupiers’ liability, liquor liability, sports and recreational liability, commercial general liability, employment and human rights, property damage, and motor vehicle accidents.
