Joyce Zhao (She/Her)

Joyce joins Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an associate. Before joining Dolden, Joyce articled at the Ministry of the Attorney General (Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Ministry of Infrastructure), providing research and analysis in areas including insurance litigation, contract law, corporate law, and consumer law.

Joyce graduated with Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. During her studies, Joyce represented the University of Ottawa in a moot court competition with other Ontario law schools. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and was a student scholar in the Law Commission of Ontario. She spent a summer working as an intern at Reach Canada, providing legal referral services for the local community. Prior to law school, Joyce was also a summer intern at a full-service law firm.

Joyce is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
