Jordyn Woycheshin
Jordyn joins the Calgary office of Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an articling student following the completion of a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Alberta in 2021.
During her time at the University of Alberta, Jordyn participated in the Kawaskimhon Moot focused on the negotiation of Indigenous legal issues. Jordyn also volunteered at Student Legal Services and sat on the 2021 Graduation Committee. As a member of the 2021 Graduation Committee, she helped organize and facilitate numerous fundraisers to successfully produce the 2021 virtual graduation reception.
Throughout the summer of 2020, Jordyn worked as a summer student for the Alberta Lawyers’ Indemnity Association. Jordyn was educated on the claims process and wrote various memorandum on specific Alberta Rules of Court for claims counsel’s reference.
Prior to entering law school, Jordyn completed her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice Studies (Honours) at Mount Royal University. During her undergraduate degree, Jordyn volunteered at the Calgary Youth Justice Society as a panel member. As a panel member, Jordyn provided sanctions that focused on the rehabilitation of youth.
In her free time, Jordyn enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and listening to podcasts.
