James Dawson (He/Him)
James joins Dolden Wallace Folick as an articling student following the completion of his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. James previously earned a Bachelor of Legal Studies from Capilano University.
Prior to law school, James worked as a paralegal for a personal injury law firm in North Vancouver and handled a variety of tort claims. As a paralegal, James gained extensive experience in the litigation process, as well as alternative dispute resolutions including mediation. James volunteered with Amici Curiae Friendship Society during his time as a paralegal, where he provided assistance to individuals in the Vancouver community in completing legal documents.
As a law student, James held the position of Co-President of the TRU Access to Justice Law Club and was involved in several initiatives to promote access to justice in the community of Kamloops. James also had the opportunity to participate in the TRU Legal Clinic which provides legal services to low-income individuals in British Columbia’s interior region.
