Elka Dadmand

Elka Dadmand joined Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an associate in 2018 and has a broad insurance defence practice. Her experience encompasses coverage, construction litigation, liquor & host liability, complex personal injury, commercial general liability, professional liability, directors & officers liability, and class actions.

Elka was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 and the British Columbia bar in 2018. Since being called to the bar, Elka has practiced exclusively in civil litigation. Elka has appeared before various levels of courts and tribunals, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario.

Elka holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria and a Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario. In the course of her legal studies, Elka completed a clerkship at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and competed in the prestigious Wilson Moot.

Elka is an active member of the legal community. She is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the Women’s Law Association of Ontario, and is on various sub-committees.
