Chris Stribopoulos (He/Him)
Educated at the University of Toronto (B.A. 1987), and University of Windsor (LL.B. 1992), Chris was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1994. Throughout his career he has defended the interests of insureds and their insurers. Chris has extensive trial experience and has appeared before all levels of Court in Ontario.

Prior to joining Dolden Wallace Folick, Chris was a partner at a Toronto litigation boutique law firm where he gained extensive experience in defending a wide variety of insurance-related claims. Chris is a passionate advocate for his clients and is always looking for creative and cost-effective solutions to complex claims.

For over 25 years Chris has been involved in the defence of many provincial and national class actions which has given him an excellent understanding of how to manage and defend class actions. This extensive experience is an important asset given the new litigation that will occur with the recent changes in the Ontario Class Proceedings Act. Chris has extensive experience defending insurance brokers, financial planners, mortgage brokers, real estate brokers, lawyers, home inspectors, and optometrists, in both individual and class actions. Additionally, Chris is very knowledgeable in dealing with force-placed mortgage insurance. He has also defended directors and officers, and is acutely aware of the intricacies of defending these complex claims.
Defence of Insurers
Chris has been involved in the defence of claims against insurer clients where coverage was denied by the insurer client, and the insured commences an action against the insurer.
General Liability Property and Construction Claims
Chris has extensive experience in insurance defence litigation involving casualty and property insurance-related matters arising out of faulty workmanship, fire, water leakage, etc. and has defended a wide range of insureds and property losses.
Chris has significant experience in defending claims arising from construction projects including the defence of contractors, sub-contractors and project managers. He also has personal experience in the construction industry and is uniquely aware of the issues that arise during a construction project.
EPL Claims
Chris has handled the defence of many EPL claims in his career. Chris has also presented on various matters relating to employment law.
