Angela Barreto
Angela Barreto joins Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an Associate. Angela is an experienced litigator with an interest in matters relating to commercial disputes, insurance coverage, construction, professional negligence and complex personal injury claims. Known for her pragmatic approach, Angela has represented clients in the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Appeal.
As part of her work in law school, Angela had the opportunity to co-author a chapter on enforcement in the Research Handbook on International Courts and Tribunals issued by Edward Elgar Publishing in 2017.
Angela is fluent in Spanish and English. She is currently a member of the executive of the Canadian Bar Association’s Insurance (South) Section.
Angela has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch for her work in Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law.
