Viola Winterton

Viola Winterton

Viola began her career as a lawyer in Canada after completing her articles with a prominent law firm in Vancouver. She joined Dolden Wallace Folick as an associate in 2019, where she has since established herself through her work in insurance law. Viola’s extensive litigation experience, both locally and internationally, enables her to act for and defend clients in various areas, including property damage, construction, occupier’s liability, subrogation, and bodily injury matters.

Viola’s expertise extends beyond litigation, however. In 2021, and prior to rejoining Dolden Wallace Folick, she took on an in-house role as the General Counsel of a telecoms company where she represented the company in regulatory matters and specialized in commercial litigation, cyber law enforcement, and construction and development agreements. This experience has given her a unique perspective and added depth to her legal knowledge and skills.
