Kainat joins Dolden Wallace Folick following the completion of her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. Kainat also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
Prior to law school, Kainat worked at the largest property and casualty insurance company in Canada as a bodily injury adjuster. She primarily handled tort claims arising out of motor vehicle accidents. As an adjuster, she managed claims through the litigation process, working closely with defense counsel.
During law school, Kainat worked at the Legal Assistance of Windsor, providing legal assistance on housing and social benefits matters to low-income clients. Kainat received the Rose Voyvodic Memorial Award for her work with the clinic. Kainat also served as a senior editor on the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, as she thoroughly enjoys legal scholarship.
During her summers as a law student, Kainat gained a wide variety of experience through her various positions. Kainat worked as a research assistant at the University of Windsor, in partnership with Centre of International Governance Innovation, to develop an online repository of patent and copyright legislative and treaty actions during the Covid-19 pandemic. Kainat also worked as a summer associate at a multinational plaintiff firm in South Carolina, focusing chiefly on multi-district and class action suits concerning pharmaceutical and consumer products.
