Josh joins the Calgary office of Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an articling student following the successful completion of legal equivalency examinations set by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada’s National Committee on Accreditation.
Initially, Josh obtained his undergraduate degree in Justice Studies at Mount Royal University before immigrating to Australia to complete his LLB at the University of Sydney. He then completed a diploma in Practical Legal Training at the College of Law and was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2011, practicing in both NSW and Queensland jurisdictions thereafter.
Josh has since gained considerable insurance litigation experience, representing insurers, governments, unions, companies and individual clients in both plaintiff and defendant capacities. He has successfully advocated for clients in multiple Australian tribunals and courts. Furthermore, Josh has provided pro-bono assistance for Iranian refugees seeking asylum in Australia from certain persecution in their native land.
