Jonathan Tatner
Jonathan is a dedicated and experienced litigator with a specific focus on insurance defence litigation. His practice areas include commercial liability, property damage, construction, occupiers’ liability, product liability, sports liability, civil assault, and complex casualty claims.
Educated at McGill University (B.A. 2004) and Université de Montréal (LL.B. 2007) (J.D. 2012), Jonathan’s early career involved practicing civil and commercial litigation in Montreal, where he handled disputes relating to contracts, property, wills and estates, defamation, and intellectual property. Prior to joining Dolden, Jonathan was senior litigation counsel for an international insurance company, where he litigated commercial, property, and casualty claims.
Called to the Bars of Quebec and Ontario, Jonathan has trial experience (jury and non-jury), and he appears before the courts of Ontario, including the Superior Court, Divisional Court, and Court of Appeal. Jonathan is also fluent in French.
