Sarah Makson
Sarah Makson joins the Dolden office in 2026. Sarah offers a unique perspective to her law practice from her experience in both law and insurance.
Sarah was a licensed commercial insurance broker in Ontario and Alberta before attending law school. While on this career path, she learned the value of risk management and how the business of insurance operates. She also earned the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation through the Insurance Institute of Canada.
She attended law school at the University of Calgary. From the start, her practice has focused on all aspects of insurance with a special interest in coverage issues. She has developed a deep understanding of construction matters and professional liability in her practice. She is a skilled problem solver who remains committed to helping clients resolve disputes practically and efficiently. While many disputes Sarah has managed to resolve before reaching a courtroom, she has successfully appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta, and the Superior Courts in both Manitoba and Nova Scotia.
