Thomas Boyd
Thomas joins Dolden Wallace Folick LLP as an Associate after successfully completing his articles at the firm. Thomas has experience in several practices areas which include property damage, construction, liquor/commercial host liability, personal injury, subrogation, strata disputes, human rights disputes, and professional liability.
While at law school, Thomas competed at the Davies Corporate Securities Moot. Thomas’ team took first place for best factum and placed second overall. Thomas also acted as a research assistant for a professor of law conducting research on a legal data science project. During the summer before his third year of law school, Thomas worked as a legal intern at a leading national road construction company.
Prior to entering law school, Thomas was employed as a legal researcher for a boutique criminal defence firm in Edmonton. Although his position was primarily focused on legal research and writing, Thomas routinely assisted the firm’s most vulnerable clients by guiding them through the justice system and being a secondary point of contact when the senior lawyer was unavailable.
