Seth's practice focuses on insurance defence litigation, covering a wide variety of matters including complex personal injury, liquor liability, professional negligence, property damage and subrogated claims.
Seth's representative work includes:
- Advising and acting on behalf of companies and insurers with respect to a variety of occupier's liability claims, liquor liability claims, commercial host claims, and motor vehicle claims.
- Acting for defendants in property damage claims, with an emphasis on fire losses, floods, and construction deficiencies
- Defending professional liability claims against engineers, physiotherapists, land surveyors, insurance agents, and financial planners
- The prosecution of numerous subrogated actions including fire losses, floods and construction deficiencies. Recently, Seth successfully defended an application regarding the limitation period on a subrogated action (Kowarsky v. The Owners Strata Plan LMS 578, 2013 BCSC 223)
